Import Processing Charge Increases effective 1st January 2014

Today the Import Processing Charges Amendment Bill 2013 has been passed through both Houses of Parliament.

This will increase the import declaration and warehouse declaration processing charges levied on air, sea and post consignments with a value of $10,000 and upwards.

This comes into effect on 1st January 2014.
