Timber products/Illegal logging
Effective 30th November 2014 the NNF2014/057 Illegal Logging Legislation will take effect.
The Illegal Logging Prohibition Act 2012 will make it an offence to import a timber product that has been illegally logged.
This act has been in effect since November 2012 but will now take full effect from 30th November 2014.
As an importer it is your responsibility to show due diligence when it comes to importing timber products.
